I’m typically booked out solidly 2 weeks, sometimes a month. But usually, as long as you don’t need a weekend date, I can get you in within the month.

𝙲𝚘𝚗𝚜𝚞𝚕𝚝𝚊𝚝𝚒𝚘𝚗 𝙸𝚗𝚏𝚘:

I always offer complimentary (free!) consultations. This can be in person, by phone call, or video chat. Consults take about 10-30 minutes. I can answer Qs, help refine your idea, look @ reference pictures with you, etc. It’s a great opportunity to check out the shop and meet me if you’d like to do so prior to booking. Pricing:

My hourly rate is $175/hr

This has been my rate since 2023. Despite costs of business rising, I’ve kept it the same. My goal to provide quality while staying financially accessible to my client base.

Please note, I keep track of, and charge for, our time actually working on the project. I never want my clients to feel like they’re watching the clock, worried I’m charging for every second they’re in shop. That is not how I operate. I will quote you a session rate based on how long I think it will take. Or I will give you a quote range.

I book buffer time for design discussion + breaks that you are not charged for. For example, when you book my 5 hr half-day appointment, your quote is for 3-4 hrs of tattoo work. This is clarified when we speak about your project, and in the description of the booking link you will use to schedule.

The minimum of the shop I’m at is $100. This is for something that takes 20 min or less to tattoo.  Tattoos that take somewhere between 20 min- an hour will be priced accordingly.

We will thoroughly discuss your budget, estimated cost, and per session pricing. For ongoing/ large projects, sometimes I can’t give you a full quote. I can can give you an estimate of how many “x” hr sessions we may need. And what each session cost is. But, sometimes knowing exactly how long a large scale project will take is just not possible. As we say in tattooing “It takes as long as it takes”. I always strive to set our sessions up to be as efficient as possible.

Payment:

$ Cash Only $

Please be prepared to pay with CASH on the day of your appointment. There are several banks with ATMs across the street from Living Skin Tattoo where you can withdraw cash if needed. Please plan ahead.

If you must pay card, sales tax will be applied on top of the total. Since this comes out to around $200/hr, you save significantly when you pay cash.

Deposits are the exception to cash only. Unless paid in person, deposits are paid by card -only- through my website scheduling link so it can be easily tracked for both our sake.

I will -never- ask for a deposit from you via Venmo, Cash App, or other methods.

My Squarespace website uses Square secure payments only.

Guests:

I am happy to accommodate 1 guest. A support person, whether for mental health, sentiment, or disability is always welcome.

However, for long sessions, more than 3 hours, No Guests is absolutely my preference. If you’d like your guest to be there for the beginning of a long session, no problem. But please plan for them to either hang out in our lobby, or leave at a certain point. Having more than just the client in my work space can interrupt my work flow. Especially if they are engaging with you the whole time. I am a sensory sensitive human, I need to have these boundaries for my own well-being, but also so I can do my best work for you. I can’t do that if I’m distracted or overloaded.

If you and a friend, or group of friends, are getting tattooed together, one guest may be in the work station at a time. Additional guests can hang out in our lobby & switch out when reasonable. I want you to have the best tattoo experience possible. There’s room for nuance.

This is also for the respect of my coworkers. We work in an open studio environment, and it can be distracting for other artists & their clients if there’s too many people on the tattoo floor.
